Position: Brand Communication Manager

The Brand Communication Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies that communicate the brand’s identity, values, and offerings to both internal and external audiences. This role focuses on creating cohesive brand messaging across all channels and ensuring alignment with overall business goals. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public relations, and design, to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences and build brand equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy & Messaging:
    • Develop and refine the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging to ensure consistency across all communication channels.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to define brand positioning, core values, and key messaging.
    • Conduct competitive and market research to stay informed of industry trends and consumer perceptions.
  2. Content Development & Management:
    • Oversee the creation of content for various platforms, including social media, websites, advertising campaigns, press releases, and email newsletters.
    • Ensure that all brand materials align with the established brand guidelines and resonate with target demographics.
    • Work with the design team to produce visually appealing and effective content.
  3. Campaign Planning & Execution:
    • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent delivery of brand messaging in all campaign materials.
    • Track the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies to optimize results.
  4. Public Relations & Media Relations:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers to secure brand coverage.
    • Oversee press releases, media kits, and pitch strategies to promote positive brand recognition.
    • Monitor media coverage and manage brand reputation by addressing any negative publicity or communication challenges.
  5. Brand Advocacy & Internal Communication:
    • Act as a brand ambassador within the company, ensuring employees are aligned with brand values and messaging.
    • Create internal communication materials (newsletters, presentations, etc.) that reinforce the company’s brand culture and values.
  6. Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to align brand communication strategies with company goals.
    • Partner with product, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand messaging is consistent in all customer touchpoints.
  7. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Analyze brand performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.
    • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as brand awareness, engagement, and customer sentiment.
    • Adjust strategies based on feedback, performance data, and changing market conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in brand communication, marketing, or public relations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Proven track record of successful brand communication strategies and campaign management.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to work across teams.
    • Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and reporting on campaign performance.
    • Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite).
